Intro to Strength and Motherhood.

A little about myself. My name is Jessieca. I am 24 years YOUNG and a mother of two very beautiful little girls, Moriah Leilani, and Maliah Kiani ages 3 and 5. I am a working mother. I work with people who have cerebral palsy and I have my photography business. A lot to juggle when you have kids. I am dedicated to the all time Love of my Life, Jack Paul Mims. Him and I have been through so much and are on in the process of continuing the road back to reconciliation and restoration with the Lord Jesus Christ on our side. I live in a wonderful town in Southern California where we are perfectly located not so far away from beaches, desert, snow, and forests. A photographers dream!

In this blog you will see extreme honesty about my life and current circumstances. Youll see ups and downs. I will post about life in general, anything from work, kids, cooking, photography, DIY crafts, and more.

I believe that in order to be a mother you have to be strong. I also believe that the only way I recieve strength is if I give everything to Jesus Christ so he can direct and guide me. Youll learn about bad decisions Ive made and consequences Ive paid. It is only through HIM that I am able to wake up each morning.

Today, Monday September 17, 2012 marks a significant day in my relationship with Jack. Yesterday Jack moved out. We have decided to start fresh. We will be attending marital counceling at my home church. He will be "courting" me. He will be spending time with the kids (due to our work schedules he has the time to spend with them durring the day while I work) and of course weekends.

I see it like this. If we are apart we have NO choice but to work on the ugliness that is in our heart. I hope the longing of not being together will be a motivator to dedicate and truly change what is the root of our problems.

All in all I hope this will be not just an entertaining blog, but something that will let people know that we dont have to hide the mistakes weve made. We try to clean up the mess as much as we can, deal with the consequences of our actions, give it ALL to God, and MOVE forward!
